Heading Back to Mumbai

A lot of time has passed since my last post here. We returned to the DC area in January, to our family and friends, our jobs, and old routines. In fact, life quickly got back to normal, but something changed in Frank and me. So much so, that we applied for a second American Jewish World Service assignment in Mumbai…and we’re heading back next week.

Each of us is returning to the NGO we worked with last fall. It will be good to see the friends we made last year and to continue our work. We’ll be in India for another three months and expect to spend some time again in Tamil Nadu, in the southeastern part of the country.

So, for now we’re busy getting ready and packing up. Stay tuned. More to come!
